Shayla “Len” Adair

About

I am Shayla “Len” Adair, a nonbinary, Japanese-American artist who focuses on 2D work and animation.

My works are based on my own personal experiences as someone who is mixed race, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and raised in a military family.

The majority of my work consists of fictional characters that I’ve created and I present them in ways that mimic real events in life. Common qualities of my work include bold lines, vibrant colors, and exaggerated proportions and value.

Although I typically work digitally in my free time, a lot of what I’m proud of goes into my traditional works.
